1. Award for best cover
LMFAO’s ‘Sexy and I know It’ is a hard song to escape whether you like it or not, after a while the excessive bass, leopard print and thrusting can get a bit much. So this guy took the song and took his guitar and well…it’s just pretty incredible.

2. I wish Nike would pay me to make a video
Inspirational quotes, stunning scenery and good music make a powerful nike video showing a 10 day trip across the world. This will make you impossibly jealous.

3. Parenting Level: Superhero
This Dad doesn’t just do the school run…he’s does the school run with Queen.

4. Call me Harvard
So most people have manically danced to heard Carly Rae Jepsen’s infuriatingly catchy tune, it’s everywhere like a particularly bouncy viral infection. So when Harvard Baseball team decided to dance along and post it online, it could never have really gone wrong.

5. Rock from a young age
You know those days when you wake up feeling awesome? I think this is how this kid feels EVERY day.

Feel good fridays will return, as will trending tuesdays and all the other videos and madness the internet has to offer.

So to ease back into the weird web we thought we’d share our five favourite ads of the moment…

1. EDF: A dancing…thing? We don’t know but it’s cute.
The music, the weird little orange guy… it’s so feel good (and strange) you have to like it.

2. Tipex: interaction is awesome
We loved the last tipex ad (NSFW) and it’s back, with more scenarios…have fun.

3. Paralympics: Inspirational
All of our focus has been on the Games coming to the UK shortly, but we thought we’d share this ad from Canada about the paralympics, these games never get the attention they deserve and this ad really hits you with the power and strength of paralympians.

4. Google: William Shakespeare+
Classic google, simple and elegant bringing the old up to speed with the new (and add the voice over from Benedict Cumberbatch and you just can’t lose)

5. Copenhagen does flashmobs far more elegantly
Yes they’re overdone but somehow this is different – maybe it’s the suddenly appearance of violins or just the beautiful shots, but somehow it’s a tearjerker.
